Exceptional Pavement Services in Indiana

Pavement Solutions, Inc. provides pavement services in Indiana that focus on practical, long-term roadway solutions. We specialize in:
Crack Seal
Chip Seal
Slurry Seal
Micro-Surfacing

Crack Seal

Overband fiberized crack sealing is one of the most cost-effective maintenance treatments available. It helps slow pavement deterioration by sealing cracks and preventing water intrusion, which is a leading cause of structural damage. This treatment works on both asphalt and concrete roadways and addresses common issues such as block cracking, longitudinal cracking, transverse cracking, and reflective cracking. Fiberized crack seal delivers strong performance for its cost and can extend pavement life by up to 5 years.

Chip Seal

Chip seal is a pavement surface treatment that applies an asphalt binder (hot or emulsion) followed by one or more layers of aggregate. This creates a new skid-resistant surface that helps improve roadway safety while sealing minor surface cracks and slowing overall pavement deterioration. When applied at the right time, chip seal can extend pavement life by 5–7 years.

Slurry Seal

Slurry seal is a thin pavement preservation treatment made from asphalt emulsion, mineral aggregate, water, and additives, applied in a uniform layer over an existing pavement surface. It helps extend pavement life by sealing out moisture, reducing oxidation and raveling, and improving skid resistance for safer driving conditions while restoring a consistent surface. Traffic can typically return within 1–4 hours after application. Slurry seal can extend pavement life by 5–7 years.

Micro-Surfacing

Micro-surfacing is a high-performance pavement preservation treatment made from polymer-modified emulsified asphalt, mineral aggregate, mineral filler, water, and additives, carefully mixed and applied in a uniform layer over an existing surface. It can be placed using a continuous paver to reduce joints or a truck-mounted paver, depending on site conditions. Its flexible design allows it to correct issues such as rutting and perform effectively across a wide range of traffic levels, from local roads to interstate systems. One of its key advantages is speed—traffic can typically return in less than one hour after application. Micro-surfacing can extend pavement life by 6–8 years.
